XML Xdoc -output switch

The output switch allows a local filename http to be used as the output file.

Command line
Xdoc -url=http://www.trah.com/xml/data/data1.csv -output=freddy.xml -tagfile=firstline

The above command line produces this output in a file called freddy.xml.

If a directory which does not exist is specifed as part of the output filename then an error message is given
"could not open output file 'directory/filename'"
