XML Xdoc -binary switch

If -binary=1 isn't specified and the data you are converted contains binary characters then you will get a parse error message such as this.

Fatal Parse errors. There are 2 parse errors. See databin1.err for details
Suggestion: Try adding -binary=1 to the command line.

An XML document will also be created containing converted text lines only. So if when you convert data you get less data in your XML document it is probably because you need the switch -binary=1.

Whenever the -binary switch is not used, parse errors are available in a .err file.
